🔍 Revisiting the Two-State Solution: A Forgotten Commitment?

The original UN resolution of 1947 proposed a two-state solution for lasting peace in the region of Israel and Palestine. Yet, decades later, that vision appears to be slipping away.

The Oslo Accords once marked a major concession by the Palestinians, agreeing to just 22% of the land while Israel retained 78%. Today, even that 22% is being rapidly reduced through expanding settlements and ongoing military actions.

The article highlights a key issue: while the world has imposed over 16,000 sanctions on Russia, it remains largely silent on Israel’s aggressive actions in Gaza. This double standard is not just about politics—it's about human rights and international accountability.

Even within Israel, voices are rising against Prime Minister Netanyahu’s approach, questioning the long-term impact of the violence and what comes next.

The message is clear: peace requires consistency, fairness, and action—not selective memory. The two-state solution isn’t a new idea. It’s the only realistic and just path forward, and the international community must step up before it's too late.

🕊️ Peace demands not just promises, but principles.
