🌄 Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Resumes After 5 Years 🌄

After a five-year pause due to COVID-19 and India-China border tensions, the sacred Kailash Mansarovar Yatra has finally resumed in 2025. This spiritual pilgrimage, deeply revered in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon, holds immense cultural and religious significance.

Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar—located in Tibet—are now once again accessible to Indian pilgrims through government-organized routes facilitated by the Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with China and the Tibetan administration.

🛤️ Routes for the Yatra:

Nathula Pass (Sikkim): A historically significant and easier motorable route, ideal for senior citizens and those preferring minimal trekking.

Lipu Lekh Pass (Uttarakhand): A shorter but more strenuous route, now partially motorable due to strategic road construction by India.

This resumption is more than just a religious milestone—it's a symbol of renewed India-China cooperation and restoration of cultural diplomacy.

🙏 The yatra reflects India’s enduring civilizational ties and spiritual connections that transcend borders.
